Clara Turchi Shortlisted for The Renaissance Arts Prize, London

The Renaissance Arts Prize focuses on young talented artists based in Italy and the United Kingdom,
giving them the opportunity to express their potential and present their work to a jury of professionals and
a highly interested public of journalists, art dealers, curators and institutions representatives.
Winners will be announced following a video presentation of short-listed works by Stefano Cento,
Shoko Maeda, Chris Rain, Clara Turchi and Ali Waggie, in the photography section, and Tereza
Buskova, Daniele Geminiani, Riccardo Giacconi, Yaron Lapid, Valerio Rocco Orlando and Joanna
Wodzicka in the video art section.
Two prizes will be awarded in each category - to the best Italian artist, and to the best non Italian artist
- and two candidates will be invited to a residency in Tuscany on the occasion of the 9th edition of Atelier
d’Artista 2009. ...more
