Degree of Disappearance, 2011 - ongoing

One of these days the remaining of the Real will be buried under a beautiful cyber-sky illuminated by myriads of screens. And with it the possibility of memory, and the poetic of the ephemeral.

What interest do we have anymore in the dangerous operation of discovering and experiencing the world, when we can safely do that within the walls of our home? What does awe us nowadays? A fake starry sky illuminated by the shining and continuous blue light of computer screens that reach even the remotest of the places leaving us with no way to escape, or the comparatively more inconstant and capricious light of a Real that is loosing its reasons to exist?

Specification:
So far the work has been presented as an installation constituted of photographss to be found in day-light locations and a 10x2 metres photogram of a starry sky to be found on the ceiling in a room illuminated by a maze of computer screens facing upwards.
